Terms of Service

Who runs this site

PacketGB is operated by Andrei Barbu PFA, a sole trader registered in Romania. You can reach a human at andreidotbarbu@gmail.com, and that is the right address for anything in this document.

What you are agreeing to

Using packetgb.com means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site. Buying a course also means accepting the terms of the company that sells it to you, which is explained below and is not us.

Your account

You need an account to open a course you have bought. One account belongs to one person: keep the password to yourself, and tell us if you think somebody else has it. Sharing an account so that several people can read one purchase is the one thing that will get an account closed, because it is the only thing that makes a course unaffordable to write.

You can delete your account at any time by asking us at the address above. Deleting it ends your access to anything bought with it.

Buying a course — who you are actually buying from

Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. That means Lemon Squeezy — not Andrei Barbu PFA — is the seller in the transaction: it takes the payment, charges the tax due in your country, issues your invoice, and appears on your card statement. Your purchase is therefore also governed by Lemon Squeezy's buyer terms, which you accept at checkout.

We never see or store your card details. What reaches this site is the fact that an order was paid, and which account it belongs to, which is what unlocks the course.

Prices shown on a course page are quoted before tax where tax applies; the amount you will actually be charged, in your own currency, is the one shown at checkout. If the two ever disagree, the checkout is right and we would like to know about it.

What you may do with a course

A purchase gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read, watch and use the material for your own learning, for as long as the course exists on this site. It does not transfer ownership of anything.

You may not:

  • share, resell, sublicense or publish the material, in whole or in part;
  • upload it to another platform, a file-sharing service or a study group archive;
  • use automated means to download the site wholesale, or attempt to reach content your account has not been granted;
  • strip, hide or work around the measures that keep paid material paid.

Configurations and commands in the lessons are yours to use in your own work and your own lab without restriction. It is the written material, the videos and the lab packages that this section is about.

What we promise, and what we do not

Courses are written and extended over time; a course you buy today may gain lessons next month, and may have wording corrected at any point. We aim to keep the site available and the material accurate, but we do not promise uninterrupted service, and the material is educational content rather than professional advice. Cisco, CCNA, CCNP and CCIE are trademarks of Cisco Systems, Inc.; this site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Cisco.

Nothing here limits any right you have as a consumer under Romanian or EU law, and nothing excludes liability for death, personal injury or fraud. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim connected with the site is limited to what you paid for the course the claim concerns.

Ending it

You may stop using the site whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms — most often shared credentials or wholesale copying — and where the breach is not deliberate we will say what the problem is before doing anything.

Changes

These terms may change as the site does. The date at the top is when they last did. Material changes will be announced on the site; continuing to use it afterwards means the new version applies.

Law and disputes

Romanian law governs these terms, and the courts of Romania have jurisdiction — except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country and may bring a claim there. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Best experienced on a larger screen

Lessons read beside their outline, roadmaps run three columns wide, and a lab puts its tasks, files and answers side by side. A desktop or laptop gives you all of it at once.

We'll be here when you are.
